Mr Pankaj is a chartered accountant along with a degree in law. He joined GPIL in 1996 in Tea division (Tea city) and has had a tremendous growth since, gaining exposure in Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Manufacturing, ERP, Automation & now leading the supply chain of GPIL for all business verticals.

With a result oriented mind set, he has led many innovations like ERP, Finance Process Transformation projects in the company and also has been part of major product launches like 24X7 retail stores, Cafe in Delhi & Beverage Express in Mumbai.

Recently, he launched a transportation management system for automating the whole process of dispatch of goods from Factory Godown to CFA points and also implemented a vehicle tracking system with unique solution and was successful in recovery of almost 3 Cr of goods in various cases of hijacks.

Under his leadership his team has achieved all targets of working capital reduction, optimisation of Inventory and significant reduction in Ocean Freight. He believes that talent can win the game but a team can win the championship. For him, teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success.
