Mr Nakul Pasricha has been elected the President of ASPA, the world’s first and only self-regulated non-profit organization that represents the entire authentication solutions industry globally.
He has over 20 years’ rich experience and is a subject matter expert in digital authentication, serialization and traceability solutions. He is a frequent speaker in industry events and is respected and recognized for his ongoing efforts in promoting the usage of Digital Authentication Industry in India. An advocate of technology, he has been actively involved in wide-spread awareness and acceptance of digital integration in authentication solutions in the country. He has worked towards education and awareness of government, enforcement bodies, brands and consumers about the need, benefits and the relevance of new age authentication solutions for the development of the nation.
Understanding that the future of effective consumer and brand protection is possible through a combination of physical and digital solutions, this is the first time in the history of ASPA that the baton has been forwarded to Digital Authentication Solutions providers.
He also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of PharmaSecure. In this role, he has become a passionate advocate of using the power of serialization/track-and-trace to protect supply chains and improve public health. Before joining PharmaSecure, Nakul worked at Citi and GE Capital in the US and India respectively, having served as CIO of GE’s consumer finance business in India.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Gettysburg College and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College Park.
